Welcome, Personal Trainers and Fitness Studio Owners! As we head into the second quarter of 2023, it's time to start thinking about new and innovative ways to market your fitness business.

One of the most effective ways to do this is through storytelling. Storytelling allows you to create a powerful emotional connection with your audience, helping to build trust, establish authority, and drive engagement.

In this blog post, we will share some Story Idea Prompts and Marketing ideas that you can use to create compelling stories that will resonate with your target audience and help you grow your fitness business in April 2023.

So, let's dive in and explore some exciting marketing ideas for the upcoming month!

April is Stress Awareness Month, so why not promote all your wonderful de-stressing services.

Yoga

Remind existing members about your sauna, spa, and pool facilities. Encourage them to try your yoga, Pilates, or Tai Chi classes.

Hold free relaxation workshops to attract new members and create a ‘de-stress’ package to offer them at the end.

April Story Idea Prompts

Earth Day
  • Earth Day takes place on 22nd April so it’s a great month to pitch stories related to the environment or “going green.” Or, you could pitch a story about getting outside or being more active outdoors.

This Year's theme is “End Plastic Pollution” so perhaps you can do your bit by writing about how to buy fresh food not pre-packed food etc

  • There are a few religious holidays during the month of April (including Easter and Passover).

People will be getting together with their families, so if you also offer life coaching, it’s a great time to pitch stories about how to get along with your family members or how to have tough conversations with them.

  • April is Stress Awareness Month. As a busy entrepreneur, you could write a post about how you keep your stress levels in check. Or, you could pitch a story on the top exercise moves to relieve stress or how meditation can ease anxiety.
