MARCH – Referrals On Demand

March sees another peak in demand, so take full advantage by making it easy for clients and members to refer others.

One way to do this is by creating online vouchers that are free to access, so people can share them with friends and family.

Group PT Session

Offer a variety to appeal to different types of people and interests, such as a Swim & Sauna Day For 2, Group PT Session, or PT Starter Class Pass.

March Story Idea Prompts

  • The first day of spring is in March. I always remember when growing up Mum would roll up her sleeves and dive into spring cleaning the house.

I’m not suggesting that you have to pitch a story about cleaning your house. Instead, put a fresh spin on the idea. Perhaps you can create a story on spring cleaning your brain and the benefits exercise has on brain function.

Or talk about the importance of switching up training programs and periodisation.

Brain Awareness Week
  • Talking of Brain Health, Brain Awareness Week falls on 12-18 March. As we know the brain and our thoughts play a significant part in whether we will succeed in things.

There are plenty of topics such as mind set you can focus on to build awareness of you and your brand. You might decide to focus on dementia or Alzheimers.

You can find good content to use at sites such as http://dana.org/BAW/socialmediatoolkit/

Mother's Day

  • Mothers Day in the UK falls on 19th March. What offers can you craft for your female clients? Perhaps you give clients a voucher for their mum to use with you?

Or perhaps you promote your semi private or group sessions with workout with your mum.

  • Another Awareness Event this month is Nutrition and Hydration Week that falls on 12-18 March. You can find some good content ideas @NHWeek.

  • Daylight savings begins in March, which means many of us will lose an hour of the day. How about writing a blog post on how to adjust your sleep schedule with the time change.

Or, how about a story on how to be more efficient so you can do more in less time? Or maybe you offer time efficient workouts which allows clients to get in, get done and get on with their life.

St. Patrick’s Day

  • Many people celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in March. To put an interesting spin on the idea of wearing green, how about a story on “going green” (as it relates to the environment) instead?

Or maybe you could write a story on which green vegetables have the most nutrients and create a lead magnet of your favourite green smoothies?

  • March 23 is National Puppy Day. You could offer ideas on how to exercise with your pooch. Or maybe you could write a story on how animals help with anxiety and depression.
